01 — The Farm

Five generations farming the Hunter Hills since 1924

Hunter Hills Organics is a 210-hectare farm nestled under the Hunter Hills just off Highway One in South Canterbury, run by David Henderson — fifth generation on land the family has farmed for nearly 100 years.

Certified organic for over 25 years, the farm raises Angus beef cattle and lambs entirely free from chemicals, hormones, and synthetic inputs. The wool grown here is shorn, washed, spun, and woven right here in the South Island — nothing leaves the region until it reaches your door.

“Two hundred and ten hectares of land fed by wind, rain and sun.”
