Fertile soils and a temperate climate along the Waikato River, at Pukeroro, have long been prized for growing food. Kumara was grown for centuries before wheat and fruit, and then the raising of sheep and cattle. Since 1870 our family has lived, born and raised on the supply of cream and milk. This year we continue the tradition of growing food on the paddocks of Pukeroro by offering you the finest meat we can serve. You can savor the taste of our commitment to the soil we steward, and the welfare of animals we husband.

Use these sheets to decide your preferred cuts when buying a half or whole beast.

How ordering works

We sell whole and half beef carcasses. You pay us for the carcass and then you pay the butcher for the butchery of the carcass.

When placing an order, you choose the cuts you want to have the carcass processed into and we organise everything for you, including selection of the butcher and providing them with your completed cut sheet. We can even assist you in completing the cut sheet if you are unsure what cuts and options to choose.

We select the animal, “on farm harvest” and process to order so we only proceed once we have enough orders to be able to book the mobile abattoir, provided we have stock available at the time you place your order. Once we confirm enough orders and book a date for the on farm harvest, you will be notified via email of the on farm harvest date. Collection of your meat order is approximately 2 weeks following this date. The 2 weeks allows time for the carcass to be hung and AGED for around 10 days and processed and packaged it into the cuts you have chosen from the butchers cut sheet.

The butchers we are currently working with are De Bauchery in Tikipunga for Whangarei area orders and Country Meat Processors in Kaukapakapa to service Auckland customers. You collect your order from one of these butchers depending on your location.

You can view and download Auckland & Whangarei cut sheets above. You will find the cut options you are able to choose from on these cut sheets. To confirm an order all you need to do is complete, sign and return your cut sheet. Once we have enough orders to proceed, we will contact you with an on farm harvest date and request payment of your deposit to secure your order.

Offal and Offal Prices
  • The offal, organs, cheeks, tail etc are not part of the weighed carcass you are purchasing but are available to purchase. Please note on your cut sheet what offal you would like and these will be provided if available.
  • The tongue, heart, liver, kidneys, and leaf fat (for tallow) are sold at the carcass rate less $2/kg. The cheeks and oxtail are sold at $23/kg. If you want the tongue corned this can be done by the butcher which may incur an additional charge.
  • Bones are part of the carcass and the butcher can process these for you if you want them for bone broth, soup, or your pets.
Payment Terms
  • Once you have ordered and have submitted your cut sheet a deposit of $500 dollars is required to be paid to Jubilee Farm to secure your order.
  • The final amount for the carcass is due for payment to Jubilee Farm once the animal is slaughtered and weighed, and we have assigned you the carcass or part carcass as per your order.
  • The butcher’s fee is due for payment to the butcher prior to or on the date of collection of your order.
