The story of Sausages By Design started with a clear vision — to produce premium sausages and cured meats made without harmful preservatives or artificial flavourings.
Founders Neville & Nadine Bates [father daughter team ] saw the market becoming flooded with heavily processed meat products full of additives. They believed there was a better way and set out to create sausages that focused on real ingredients, great flavour, and traditional butchery skills.
What began as a small operation has steadily grown, earning a strong reputation with customers in New Zealand and overseas who value quality and transparency in what they eat.
From the early days working from a very modest setup, Neville & Nadines goal was always bigger — to challenge the status quo and prove that sausages could be made better, cleaner, and with real craftsmanship.
Today the business continues to evolve, expanding its range while staying true to its original philosophy — quality ingredients, great flavour, and honest food made properly.
And the commitment doesn’t stop at the products. Sausages By Design is focused on supporting customers as well, providing clear instructions and helpful support whenever it’s needed.
