For quarter, half and whole orders, a deposit of $500 confirms your order. The balance is invoiced on your final carcass weight, which is confirmed on the harvest date, and on your butcher cost, which is based on your cut sheet requests and extras.

Pick your own farmer, or let us match you with one, and confirm your size.

Submit your cut sheet
Decide exactly how your meat comes back: steaks, roasts, mince, sausages and how it is packed.

We arrange everything
We line up the farmer, the butcher and the harvest date. Your deposit secures your share.

Pick up and fill your freezer
Hung, aged, and cut to your sheet. Collect from your butcher, typically 3 to 8 weeks from order.

Questions people ask.

When do I pay?

For a quarter, half or whole, a $500 deposit confirms your order. The balance is invoiced once your carcass weight is confirmed on the harvest date. You pay the farmer for the animal and the butcher for the butchery when you collect.

How long until I get my meat?

Typically 3 to 8 weeks from order. The meat is hung, aged and cut to your cut sheet before you collect it.

Where do I collect it?

From the butcher you choose on the next page. Starter Box orders are picked up in Silverdale, or delivered across the North Island from $10.

What’s the difference between a box and a share?

A box has set cuts, so there’s no cut sheet to fill in. A quarter, half or whole is cut exactly how you want it, from one animal, by the butcher you choose. See the box.
